“ Steve the new owner was an absolute gem and helped us out with a venue last minute, when our original one had fallen through! It was for a christening of around 35/40 adults and 10 kids and they were so accommodating throughout. They gave us pretty much a private room (it is open plan to the bar but with the walls it feels really secluded and away from the general public) And let us in the night before to set up and store the cake and fridge bits. We were then able to keep the cake there again till today along with all the balloons. The day itself was perfect! Friendly bar staff and absolutely no issues. Everyone kept commenting on how lovely the venue was. Steve has completely turned the bar around. Brilliant family friendly atmosphere! I’ve promised I will be back for their Friday night karaoke and possibly even a quiz night or 2 also! Will also be keeping them in mind for the next time I need a venue hire! Highly recommended to anyone needing a venue hire suitable for kids too in the town centre! ”
